Programme Content
Introduction
The analysis of elements of supply chain management in the context of improving service delivery within a municipality.
The principles contained in the legislation governing supply chain management.
Identification of actual and potential risk in the municipal supply chain management process.
Standards underpinning effective supply chain management in line with ethical behaviour.
The implementation of appropriate monitoring and reporting systems to both council and senior management.
What Participants Get
Participants are given 30 days to complete a Portfolio of Evidence for assessment. Successful participants receive a certificate of competence endorsed by the LGSETA.
Assessment
Each participant receives a workshop manual that serves as both an in-class activity book and a reference guide that can be used after the workshop to revise the concepts covered.
